Terms of use

Last updated: 5 November 2026

By using the CozyRings website you agree to these terms. They're short and written in plain language. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.

1. Who we are

CozyRings is run by [your full name or company name, and city / country]. Contact: [email protected].

2. Free tools

The tools on this site are free and need no account. We may change, add or remove tools at any time.

3. Art and music you generate

Art from the Asset Library and music and sound effects from the Soundtrack Arcade are generated by CozyRings's own code and released under CC0 1.0: you can use them in any project, including commercial games, without credit (credit is appreciated). Because the results are generated, another person may get a similar result, so they are not exclusive to you.

4. Our videos, text and code examples

Our videos, articles and page designs belong to CozyRings. You're welcome to watch, link to and share them, but please don't re-upload them as your own. Short code examples (for example in the Juice Lab) may be copied into your own games freely.

5. Information and advice

Tips, engine details, grants, fees, prices and calculators are general information to help you learn. They are not legal, tax or financial advice, and details change over time. Always check the official source before making a decision. Quotes and tips from developers link to where they were said; they belong to their authors.

Bit, our helper, is a simple program that runs in your browser and picks answers from a fixed library we wrote. It can misunderstand a question or give an answer that is out of date, so treat it like a friendly tip, not an expert opinion.

Your diary, timer and daily spark are saved only in your own browser. We can't see them, so we can't restore them either. Use "Download backup" in the diary to keep a copy.

6. Creator Spotlight

  • Free both ways. Being featured is free, and we don't pay for features. It's our way of saying thank you to creators who talk about CozyRings.
  • Your content stays yours. By asking to be featured, you allow us to show your public channel name, a link to your content and a short description on our website and social channels, until you ask us to stop. We don't re-upload your videos.
  • Honest content. Your content must be your own, honest, and follow the rules of the platform it's on and the law where you live. If we ever give you something of value (for example early access or free game keys), you must disclose it clearly, as advertising rules require (for example the US FTC, the UK ASA/CMA and EU consumer law).
  • Our choice. We may decline or remove any entry, for example content that is hateful, misleading, unsafe for younger viewers, or infringes someone else's rights. A feature does not mean we endorse everything on your channel.
  • Leaving. You can ask us to change or remove your entry at any time by email.

7. Other websites

We link to websites, videos and communities we don't run (for example YouTube, Google Drive, Discord, game engines, grant programmes and creators' channels). We're not responsible for their content or how they work.

8. Our name and site

The CozyRings name, logo and website design belong to CozyRings. Game, engine and company names belong to their owners and are used only to describe them. Mentioning a game, engine, company or developer does not mean they work with us, sponsor us or endorse CozyRings. The fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License.

9. Reporting a problem or a copyright concern

If you think something on the site is illegal, wrong, or uses your work without permission (including notices under the US DMCA or the EU Digital Services Act), email [email protected] with a link to the content, what the problem is, and how to reach you. We'll review it promptly and tell you what we did.

10. Fair use of the site

Please don't try to break, overload, scrape at scale or misuse the site, and don't use it to break the law.

11. No guarantees

We work hard to keep the site useful and correct, but it is provided "as is", without guarantees. To the extent the law allows, CozyRings is not liable for losses that come from using the site or relying on its information. This doesn't limit liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for gross negligence, intent, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of [city, e.g. Tel Aviv] have jurisdiction. If you live in the EU, the UK or another country that gives consumers extra protection, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring a claim in your local courts. Please write to us first; most problems can be solved with one friendly email.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Big changes will be announced on the site.
